Instructions: Please use this form as an organizer for writing your portion of your group position paper. You will be writing the third part of the paper. You should clearly and thoroughly document the results of your interviews regarding the final solution that your group has decided on to solve the problem that you are addressing. You may use your own research and the research from other members of your group to address any objections or concerns that were raised by those interviewed. Be sure to follow the MLA citation format that you used when completing your JRP. Your portion of the paper should be a minimum of one page in length.
V. We interviewed individuals to see what their response would be to my plan. Their responses are as follows.
Catie's interviewees responses: Erin Lee: It's a good idea. It's only fair to make it all equal. Women should be able to do whatever the men do.
Cay Kordik: If you had asked me years ago, I would have said no [to the bill]. But nowadays, girls are more active and do the things the men do. Nowadays women can probably do whatever the men can, so why not let them?
Bibi's interviewees responses: Ruby Davis: Women are not only as strong as men but mentally and physically as well they can prove it too especially in the Marines or any sort of military.
Mrs. Steerup: I think that women could go alone into the battlefield. Women can in combat and wome should have an option to fight in combat they should be able to also choose not to fight. But they have to decide that when they inlist.
Alex's interviewees responses: Isabel Perez: Women should be allowed to do what they want and if that means they choose to risk their lives to fight for their country then they have every right.
Jorge Perez: I think they should have the right to do what they want. Women are also independent they are not controlled by men.
VI. Our answers, based on our research, to their objections and concerns are:
Our proposition seems to be popular among the people, so there is no need to correct or change anything. Everyone we interviewed really had nothing against this problem they all said they should be allowed to do what they want. If they want to risk their lives for their country so be it.
